Online Course Information

Our time-saving and affordable online courses can be used as an interactive distance learning platform where students can complete the knowledge-based component of the course online and then complete the hands-on skills evaluations with an instructor. Our blended training model is simple and straightforward:

1. Students log in to an online course, using a unique access code - provided after student selects and pays for their course. Course info is sent to email provided with order/payment.

2. Students complete the online course and, upon completion, print a course completion acknowledgement form. Students then contact an authorized Skills Testing Center for an on-site skills check. Read below for those details.

3. Students demonstrate their ability to perform required skills and receive an course completion card from the Skills Testing Site.

AHA Blended Learning - BLS CPR Provider

Hybrid Course

($80 + tax per student)  BLS Provider - This is the online portion for the AHA BLS CPR / AED Provider course. This course is designed for the medical professional.  Not a Medical Professional? Click here

Do not look for class dates on this website.
You won't find any. We offer a better way!

We are not offerring a live class for this course.

We are only providing this as a Hybrid Course - Part of it is done online wherever you have a computer and internet service; part of it is a hands-on test with an educator.

Complete part of it online at your own pace; then contact us for a hands-on session when our schedules align. This hybrid method means you have the flexibility to get your certification today, tomorrow, next week, or whenever it is best for you.

We know some places will not accept "online" CPR training.

The online parts we offer are only the lecture, tests, and videos. CPR certification cards will be issued AFTER your hands-on session. Certification will be the exact same as if you attended a full, live, in person class. Certification will not say anything about an online course, and the hands-on session is included in the price of the course.

Training will include: In-facility and pre-hospital tracks; student chooses his/her track before starting the Online Portion. Includes Enhanced learning experience through e-Simulations, life-like animations, video scenarios, and knowledge checks and includes the test normally completed in a classroom setting.

Length of course: No set time. Unlimited access to course.

Certification: Certification is good for 2 years.  Certification will state normal completion of the AHA BLS Provider course - it is the same certification provided as if student attended a normal classroom session course.

Hands on testing: A hands on test must be performed to obtain a certification card. Any AHA educator is authorized to provide this testing (See below). A fee might apply, contact your tester for details.

Note: The PDF you are purchasing will be delivered to your email after purchase and will include instructions on how to take the online course. It will also include a ten digit access code that functions like a gift certificate, good for one copy of the course and should be treated as cash.

Hands on Testing

  • Price includes Hands on test.

  • All Hybrid courses require a Hands On Skills Test, prior to a certification issued to the student.

  • Course completion cards (BLS, CPR, AED, First Aid) will indicate a classroom type class was completed - none will state online training. This is important for AHA BLS Provider students!!

  • Not in the Houston or San Antonio areas? Don't worry - we will find a hands on tester in your area.

  • The Bloodborne & Airborne Pathogens (BBP) and BLAST! Courses do not require Hands on testing.

The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in BLS, ACLS, and PALS and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the American Heart Association. Any fees charged for such a course, except for a portion of fees needed for AHA course material, do not represent income to the Association.
